COUNT DOWN TO PEDORTHIC CONFERENCE 2024!
Gait Cycle Tech
We are delighted to announce that the national Pedorthic Conference 2024 will be hosted at the Moonee Valley Racecourse, Moonee Ponds in Victoria, from 12–14 September 2024.
The Moonee Valley Racing Club has a proud and strong history of bringing people together, be it for a race meeting, a celebration, or a good cause.
Building on its 2023 success, the Pedorthic Association of Australia extends an invitation to experts in allied health to expand their knowledge of pedorthics and associated domains pertaining to the lower limb, shoes, and feet.
In the southern hemisphere, this conference is unparalleled in the field of pedorthics. With ‘Gait Cycle Tech’ as its theme, it aims to inspire all attendees to delve into the pedorthic perspectives on optimising movement. Additionally, it highlights the significant contributions of pedorthics to allied health, ultimately benefiting clients with foot health-related issues. This comes after a notable 20% increase in delegate attendance at last year’s conference.
The footwear industry is rapidly expanding and evolving, thanks to global suppliers, innovative products and technological advancements, and widespread availability. A significant part of our annual conference’s exhibition is dedicated to educating allied health professionals on the latest devices and essential technology in the field.
Please allow extra time in your travel schedule for Wednesday, 11th September, when we have our pre-conference event visiting last year’s Gold Sponsor Leffler.
Thursday’s pre-conference workshops are centered on falls and balance. Following that, there is the AGM for members and a welcome reception for all delegates in the evening.
We hope to see you at the Pedorthic Conference 2024: Gait Cycle Tech in Moonee Ponds!
