Case Study: Posterior Tibialis Tendon Dysfunction (PTTD) and Pedorthic Care
Posterior tibialis tendon disfunction is one of the most common causes of flatfoot acquired in adulthood. In this presentation, I outline two ways to treat an acquired flatfoot brought on by PTTD. Custom footwear will be used in one example, while a buttress and orthoses will be used in the other. At the end, I will compare both treatment options.
