Know the Load, Guide the Road: Managing Tibialis Posterior and Adult Acquired Flatfoot with Confidence

September 20 @ 13:30
13:30 — 14:15

Adult acquired flatfoot (AAF) and tibialis posterior-related pathology can be challenging to assess and manage. This session introduces a structured framework using biomechanical principles to identify key structures under stress and guide orthotic intervention. Learn how to apply the “dose” concept to device prescription, redistribute loads effectively, and choose between low-profile and higher-control devices such as the Richie Brace.

Practical demonstrations will show scanning techniques, posting strategies, and device adjustments, alongside tips for communicating with patients and other health professionals. Attendees will leave with a systematic, load-based approach to managing medial ankle conditions and improved confidence in clinical decision-making.
